It is now official that ZTE is making a dual-screen smartphone that can be folded together or flipped open. All the previous leaks and rumors are now confirmed and the new smartphone will be called Axon M and it will definitely be a dual-display smartphone. These previous leaks and rumors were confirmed today as the Axon M was spotted on FCC website. However, the documents didn’t include photos or detailed specs, they do sure seem to show a clamshell-style device that pR0bably folds in half when it’s not in use.
The ZTE Axon M is a “multi-mode digital mobile phone” according to FCC. The drawings of the back show that phone can be flipped open or folds shut. Also, there a camera on the back of the device and it’ll also WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. FCC states that the new flagship, when launched, will boot Android 7.0 Out of the box.
The Screen measures 6.8″ when folded and 2160 x 1920 pixel when in dual screen mode. There is of now, no confirmation on the price and release date of ZTE’s Axon M dual-screen phone. But this sighting at FCC website is definitely enough proof to show that foldable screen is real and that it’s pR0bably coming soon.
