SEE Fu.ck UP……WAFU Cup 2017: Ghana thrash Super Eagles 4-1 to win competition

Ghana has won this year’s West African Football Union (WAFU) Cup.
The hosts defeated bitter rivals Nigeria with 4-1 on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The Black Stars took the lead in the 44th minute of play, with Sarfo Kwadwo punishing slack defending from the Super Eagles to make it 1-0.

Vincent Atingah doubled their lead from the penalty spot.
Another spot-kick was awarded to Ghana and Stephen Sarfo converted it to make it 3-0.
Atingah was sent off late in the game, but it did nothing to change the final outcome, as the Ghanaians added one more goal in injury time.

A stunning free-kick from Rabiu Ali was merely a consolation for Salisu Yusuf’s men.
Nigeria had defeated the Black Stars 2-0, when they met during the group stages of the tournament.
